Karen, Amazons Model won Miss Perú Universo 2009
LIMA - A beauty professional model 24 year-old Karen Schwarz Espinoza was crowned the title Miss Perú Universo 2009 at the beauty pageant held at the Hacienda Villa de Chorillos, in Lima, Perú on April 4th. 22 Beauty Candidates completed in the event.

Karen is represent Amazons and 1.78 m tall. She will complete at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant on August 23, 2009 in Atlantis Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas.

While Jessica Shialer, beauty queen Ayacucho, was named 1st runner-up. Jessica will represent her coumtry in Miss Earth 2009 in the Philippines.

And 2nd runner-up was Sofia del Pino who represented Ica.

Harrison teen as Miss Italia USA 2009


Florida USA - Christina Marraccini of Harrison, has been selected as Miss Italia USA 2009 as part of the final round of competition prior to the Miss Italia nel Mondo (Miss Italy in The World) beauty pageant.

The event held On a fabulous cruise aboard the MSC Orchestra March 21-28, 2009. She had previously won the Miss Italia USA New York 2009 in February.

The selection was made after a week long event among a field of 47 finalists from around the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Marraccini will travel to Jesolo, Venice in June to compete against 49 other contestants from all over the world for the title Miss Italia nel Mondo 2009.

Marraccini, 18, is a senior at Harrison High School where she is a student/athlete, involved in several sports, clubs and other extra-curricular activities. She was also received several awards.

She will attend Lehigh University next fall and major in communications.

ARGENTINA won First Miss Tourism Ibero-America


ARGENTINA - Agustina Quinteros from Argentina won the first Beauty Queen of Miss Tourism Ibero-America. Miss Tourism Ibero-America 2009 pageant held in the city of Las Termas de Río Hondo, Argentina that over 6000 people attended the event.

Agustina Quinteros was a beauty queen who is representing Argentina in Miss World 2008 Pageant in South Africa, also Top 32 semi-finalists of Miss World 2008.

Miss Brasil, Jeanine d'Castro, was The 1st runner-up. Current Jeanine is Miss Mundo Minas Gerais, and she will be soon competing at Miss Mundo Brazil 2009.

Chutima Durongdej won Miss Thailand Universe 2009




BANGKOK, March 28 - A Business student 23 year old Chutima Durongdej was crowned Miss Thailand Universe 2009 at the beauty pageant held on March 28th at the Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok, in Bangkok, Thailand. Lovely 44 contestants completed in this event.

The Beauty Queen Chutima, who stands 177 cm tall, will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant on August 23, 2009 in Atlantis Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas.

While A Beautiful girl 19 year old Rujinan Pansrithum was 1st runner-up. She will represent Thailand at the Miss Earth 2009 next November in Manila, Philippines.
