What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
Since September of 2005, I have been a student on the Bachelor Degree level at the University of the Netherlands Antilles. I hope to obtain my degree in International Business in June 2008. After that I would like to enroll in an American University to pursue my Master's Degree in Economics. My final goal will be to become a professional businesswoman. I love playing volleyball. For many years I have been a part of our national team and as such I have been representing Curacao in various international competitions. I also was selected as the Best Libero in Jamaica in 2005. In 2007 I participated in the Fame Body Shape Contest in Canada. To my pleasant surprise, one of my pictures taken in this competition was selected for the poster to promote the upcoming Fame contest.

My main interest in the short term is to represent my country the best I can in the Miss Universe Competition, and getting my master's degree in Environment Studies. What I enjoy doing most is watching movies, especially independent cinematography (from several countries around the world). It is the best way for me to get to know and learn about the culture from each country and region.

Given that I love a good laugh, I really enjoy watching stand-up comedy, playing practical jokes and surprising people. Furthermore, I also enjoy writing poetry as it has provided me with a special place to display my emotions at any given time. As hobbies go, I enjoy grocery shopping, sliding on wood floors wearing socks, playing cards with my grandpa/showing him simple card tricks, working with children, tasting authentic dishes from various countries and shopping for vintage clothing.
