Miss Frøken Norge 2009 SEMI Finalist

Miss Norway (Norwegian; Frøken Norge) is a Norwegian beauty pageant, qualifying the winner to the global contests Miss Universe and Miss World.

The 24 who are in the Miss Norway 2009 come from 15 counties. Among these were a tvillingpar from Kristiansund, now resident in Ålesund and three girls from Skien (picture)! Stavanger has two semi'en and a finalist from 2007 is now one step closer to a new finale ....

Marita Frøyen from Sandane had the most SMS votes, Silje Nylund from Øyer hijacked WEB most votes, ahead of Marita Frøyen. Silje Nylund came on 9 place on the list of given SMS votes. These two were the only thing that was top 10 on both publikumsavstemmingene.

Organizer Geir Hamnes would not go out with individual results from the poll, and explains it this way; the other four top-5 SMS placed respectively as No. 33, 35, 40 and 48 on the WEB poll - and thus not in a position to advance. We do not want to tell "Miss X" that she was on 40 or 48 space - no one will get some up to be told that "you came in last place ..."

It was given WEB 35,770 votes and 14,025 SMS votes.

Semi finalists gathered in Oslo 30 January. In three days, they will through several photo shoot, participation in the "Hair & Beauty Fair" in Oslo Spectrum and extensive interviews. A varied and exciting program pending the 24 that are now a step closer to the finals at the end of March ....

The winner will be crowned by outgoing titleholder Miss Frøken Norge 2008, Lene Egeli a professional model from Stavanger. Then new Miss Frøken Norge 2009 will be complete in Miss Universe 2009 Beauty Pageant and Miss World 2009 Beauty Pageant.
