LAS VEGAS: Jan 15, Miss America 2009 Contestants Arrive In Las VegasLAS VEGAS. 52 contestants from all 50 American states, the District of Columbia, and the American Virgin Islands, compete for the crown and scholarship money.
Miss America 2009, the 84th Miss America Beauty Pageant will be held at Planet Hollywood on January 24, 2009.
The pageant will broadcast live on TLC from the Theatre for the Performing Arts at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, only the fourth time that the pageant has been held outside Atlantic City.
