The Production house Forza, Oklamcak Production and TV Markiza announced at the press conference held on October 27, 2008 the start of the new class. First, the regional castings around the Slovakia will take place in the biggest cities, then select the number of semifinalists and finally cut into the final 12 contestants.
The national director of MWS Lucia Hablovicova, the pageant expert Mr. Jozef Oklamcak and The current Miss World Slovakia, Edita Krešakova, will consist of beauty pageant.
The finals contest will be held on April 17, 2009 in Bratislava.
