Miss Curaçao 2009

Willemstad, CURAÇAO - Last night, the Miss Curaçao 2009 finals took place at the World Trade Center Curaçao in Willemstad. Winner was 23-year-old ASHANTA MAFALDA MACAULY (center). In 2004 she won the Miss Teen Playa Mundial title.

Ashanta, who is 23 years old and 1.66 m-tall, will represent Curaçao in Miss Universe 2009.

Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held sometime in the summer of 2009, in a venue to be announced soon. Dayana Mendoza, from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor in the event.
