MISS Wales Chloe-Beth Morgan from Cwmbran took time out from her schedule at this year's Miss World contest in South Africa to see a golf hole designed by Ian Woosnam.

18 of the world's top golfers each designed a hole at the course at the Legend Golf and Safari Resort which housed Miss Morgan and fellow contestants for six days.

As well as checking out the gold course the 22-year-old fitness instructor learned various trekking and survival skills.

The 112 contestants were also offered the chance to take part in African cultural activities like cooking, drumming and dancing.

Miss Morgan stayed in the magnificent surroundings of Entabeni Safari Conservancy in South Africa’s Limpopo Province, situated within the greater UNESCO World Heritage "Waterberg Biosphere".

The Miss World pageant officially begins on December 13 but contestants fly out up to a month in advance.
