The Annual Miss Finland 2009 Beauty Pageant or locally known as Miss Suomi 2009 was held at MTV3 channel in Helsinki,Finland on March 01, 2009.
A Beauty 21-year old Essi Pöysti of Jyväskylä was crowned Miss Suomi (Finland Universe) 2009.
The new beauty queen stands 1.74 m will represent Finland in Miss Universe 2009 beauty contest next August.
The first runner-up was 19-year old Elsi Suolanen of Helsinki.
The 2nd runner-up was 19-year old Linda Wikstedt of Helsinki, who was crowned Miss Finland World last year and represented her country in Miss World 2008, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
