* The Miss Ecuador 2009 will represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2009 .
* The Miss World Ecuador will be entering Miss World 2009.
* The Miss Internacional Ecuador will be entering Miss International 2009.
* The First Runner Up will be entering Miss Earth 2009.
* The Second Runner Up will be entering Miss Maja 2009.
* The rest of the Top 10 will enter Reinado Internacional del Café.
* Miss Globe International, Miss Atlantic International 2010.
* Miss Intercontinental and Miss América Latina.
As part of its preparation for the Miss Ecuador 2009, the 22 candidates participated in the Beach Fashion Week 2009 (January 15-18, 2009)
